Miss Pre-Teen North Dakota International 2021 - Clara S.

​Clara Seckerson is Miss Preteen North Dakota International 2021. Her favorite thing is ice cream. Her parents own the Dairy Queen in Jamestown, North Dakota. Dairy Queen has impacted her life so much. She gets to have ice cream almost every day! Her favorite is a Small M&M Banana Blizzard. It tastes amazing!!!!
Clara also plays the piano. Her teacher is, Dasha, she is an amazing teacher. Dasha lets Clara choose what pieces she wants to. Clara’s favorite to play is Beauty and the Beast. Clara has an electric piano that she thinks is amazing. She has played piano for about 6 years. Dasha says Clara is one of her favorite students.
Clara has a lot of fears, some, most people have, others are unique to her. She has never met someone else who fears the same thing. Her biggest fear is SEMITRUCKS! She is afraid of Semi trucks, because in North Dakota there is a lot of wind, ice, and snow, which can make semitrucks fall over. She is scared that they are going to fall on her. She is also scared of TOILETS! They are sometimes loud, and it makes her think a ghost is going to come! Clara says, “Maybe that is a little too much imagination, but I am a kid, and I can use my imagination.” Other fears are storms, dying, others dying, disagreement, my family’s choices, and most of all my choices. Decisions make a huge impact in life not only because she holds the Title of Miss Preteen ND International 2021, but also because we are all human. Sometimes people listen to me when, I do not want them too.
Sometimes Clara’s classmates ask, how she won.  But she really doesn’t have an answer, she was just herself. A little secret of hers is that after Fun Fashion she told her mom, “I don’t care if I win or not but, I killed it!” That is when Clara realized she has a purpose. She loves herself and her life and she is grateful, so grateful. Clara wishes everyone could be happy
In school, Clara has good grades but that does not mean that school is easy. There is a lot of drama in in her class and it stinks, but she still smiles. In those moments she tries to remember her platform. Sometimes she thinks that she needs to listen to herself and take care of herself. Like having a selfcare day, or even getting out of bed.
Clara hopes we all stay amazing and keep on following her journey as Miss Preteen North Dakota International 2021
